Kartik Iyer has over two decades of experience in the financial industry covering Capital Markets, Private Equity Fund Management, and Investment Banking. He has extensive experience working with the State Bank of India Group at SBI Capital Markets and in SBI promoted PE Fund Oman India Joint Investment Fund. His projects spanning several community banks on consulting and fund raising assignments provided him with first hand experience in dealing with Communities and understanding this ecosystem, which helped in designing a New Template to finance agriculture projects.
Has over a decade of experience in investment advisory having consulted multiple small and mid-sized organisations across Healthcare, Education, and Technology segment. His professional experience includes various assignments covering Business Development, Operations Management, and Fundraising for businesses based in India, Middle East, and Europe. He has also worked with Family Offices managing their portfolio companies and investments. He holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering (Hons) from University of Sheffield, U.K. and a postgraduate degree in Economics and Finance from University of Leeds, U.K.
Has over 15 years of experience in the banking, financial services, and SME segment working with City Union Bank, IndoStar Capital, and other private entities. She has extensive experience of managing branch business, business units, and on-ground projects. At Human Ventures she manages different livelihood projects across the country overseeing project rollout, farmer selection, loan documentation, partner engagements, and coordination with financial institutions.
Has over 15 years of experience in the financial services and insurance sector working with reputed institutions like Tata Finance Limited, Birla Sunlife, and Kotak Life Insurance, Bajaj Allianz and IndoStar Capital. She has managed both front-end and back-end of financial services operations including product sales, loan management system, customer service management, and grievances redressal. At Human Ventures she manages loan documentation, partner engagements, and financial institution coordination.
Shares the right combination of technical expertise and entrepreneurial spirit to spearhead the tech stake being built by the company. He received his Diploma in Computer Science Engineering in 2015 followed by a Bachelors (B.E.) in Information Technology in 2018 from K.J. Somaiya Institute, Mumbai. Right from his early college days he has been developing tech based solutions including the development of a Free and Open Source E-Learning Software for all the 32 institutes of K.J. Somaiya Group for which he has received a national level award. He also interned at IIT Bombay, where he developed a Knowledge Management System for extracting details from academic thesis for research purpose. Today he is a Director in one of the earliest technology consulting company Image Online Pvt. Ltd., where they consult multinational companies and organisations on technology based product development. In 2020 he started an Online Printing startup, 'Flexiprint' providing end-to-end printing solutions for businesses using a state-of-the-art web-based platform. He developed an innovative digital imaging platform that helps businesses to create customised printing solutions suiting their requirements. At Human Ventures he manages the development and deployment of different technology platforms and solutions for the business that enable our operating teams to execute the projects on ground.
Is a post-graduate in Constitutional law from Indian Law Institute, Delhi. During law school, she interned with top tier law firms like Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Nishith Desai Associates and J. Sagar Associates. She also worked on research assignments with Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, and Ministry of External Affairs covering a broad range of topics including regulation of virtual currencies, gender imbalance in higher judiciary, non-tariff barriers and quantitative restrictions on trade. After law school, owing to her inclination towards the social sector, she worked as an SBI Youth for India Fellow with M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation in Koraput, Odisha. She implemented a project on increasing the consumption of millets in the tribal communities and gained experience of working at the grassroot level for one year. At Human Ventures she is responsible for research and analysis of various livelihood projects, reviewing operational details, preparing detailed project reports for Financial Institutions and other Institutional Partners.
Comes from an Agriculture Research background. She holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Zoology, Manipur University and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture from Central Agricultural University, College of agriculture Imphal. Recently she completed her post graduation in Agriculture Economics from School of Agricultural Sciences and rural Development, Nagaland University. She has extensive on-ground technical research and market survey experience. She has submitted several academic research papers in peer reviewed journals. Her latest research on Marketing Pattern and Marketing Efficiency of Organic Turmeric in Kakching district of Manipur, India was published in an international peer review journal - Agro Economist. At Human Ventures she is responsible for conducting technical research, regional and field survey analysis.
Shriya Khaparde is a postgraduate in Horticulture and Botany from Mumbai University. She shares extensive experience in environmental conservation and project management. At Human Ventures she is responsible for all project related coordination between different stakeholders and ensures seamless execution of activities. She leads our ground team in rolling out different projects and manages our project monitoring and reporting system.
Ojas holds a B.Tech degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from K.J. Somaiya Institute of Technology. During his college tenure, he actively pursued opportunities in emerging technologies, completing projects and internships related to satellite payload (with ISRO and IN-SPACe) and a Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) project for Nehru Science Center. He excelled in the NVIDIA hackathon, achieving an all-India rank 5 with his team. Notably, he presented a research paper at IEEE conference WAMS-2023, focusing on a Geodetic Grade antenna for GNSS and NaviC. He is passionate about leveraging his skills in embedded systems, hardware design, and software development to contribute to IoT and create impactful devices for Agriculture.
